Our History
Founded in 2020, ICIES emerged from a global recognition that industry and education standards needed an independent, trustworthy arbiter—free from governmental bias and commercial pressure. Our founders, drawn from leading universities, corporations, and professional organizations across 30+ countries, established ICIES with a singular mandate: create globally recognized standards through collaborative rigor.
Within four years, ICIES has accredited over 500 institutions across 150+ countries, certified 10,000+ professionals, and developed 50+ distinct standards frameworks covering critical domains from educational quality to industry-specific competencies.
Today, ICIES stands alongside ISO and PMI as a trusted certifying body, recognized by governments, employers, and institutions worldwide as the mark of excellence in standards and accreditation.
